Museum of Glass

Branding, Media Relations, Communications Planning

SITUATION

Beginning in 2013, the Museum of Glass began a program teaching glassblowing to soldiers from the Warrior Transition Batallion at Joint Base Lewis McChord.


SOLUTION

I planned and managed the subsequent exhibition opening featuring art made during these classes in the fall of 2015. This program received funding from the National Endowment for the Arts and is a model for the Creative Forces initiative of the Department of Defense.


RESULTS

Initial Media Outreach resulted in  2,670,000 impressions
